Behind The Scenes: Musician Greg Williams.

This is the second in an ongoing series in which The Beat Magazine 2025 takes readers “Behind The Scenes” to meet the talented creative individuals who make the London area such a vibrant arts and culture community.

Belinda J. Clements profiles Woodstock-based musician Greg Williams.

Greg Williams is a Canadian roots-rock and Americana Southern Rock musician. He is well known for his fiddle solos, and at the Canadian Open Fiddling Championships, he won the award for “Most Entertaining Fiddler”.

Greg’s band, The Dirty Magnolias, recently packed the barn at Quiet Earth, owned by Brent Jones and family in Dorchester. They played to a sold-out crowd, with all the proceeds going to the Dorchester Fair Children’s Programming in memory of his mom, who was a huge volunteer and supporter there.

Learn more about Greg Williams and his gigs on his personal and Dirty Magnolias Facebook pages (4) Facebook and his Instagram page Instagram.

“Supporting local music enriches our culture and helps to build our community spirit. Attend their shows and purchase their merchandise.” – Belinda J. Clements.
