Odesa Company’s StageQuest: A New Voyage is Must-See Theatre

Odesa Company’s ‘StageQuest: A New Voyage’, now playing this week only at the Auburn Stage at the Grand Theatre, is must-see theatre.

The form, using the toss of a die to determine plot twists, is a refreshing innovation to the staid structure of traditional theatre.

Written and directed by William Flood and Jess Pereira, the audience becomes intimately involved in the action. It is fantasy, for sure, and ultimately engrossing!

The characters draw us in and make it matter what happens. The four main protagonists, ‘Borbra’, played by Aech Berteig, ‘Miz’ri’ played by Sofia ‘G’ Eidsath, with Ryan Hoffer portraying ‘Roderick’, and anchored by the ‘Quest Master’ Mariana Hrnjak, take us on a wild ride.

Katie Addley, Frances Bogolea, Dustin Didham, Kirsi Marino, Marc Motiejunas, Ray Joe Moreau, and Amanda Roberts form a strong ensemble in support.
