What: The Grand Theatre High School Project — School of Rock : The Musical. Based on on the 2003 hit movie starring Jack Black, the show gives London area high school students the opportunity to receive education and training in the working environment of a professional theatre. In addition to an all high school cast, students work in all the behind the scenes departments alongside a professional creative team, including a director, music director, choreographer, and designers.

What They’re Saying: “School of Rock is the first time that we’re going to have students playing instruments onstage as the central idea about the show is building a rock band with high school students. That’s a really fun new opportunity and as such we’re going to see some new faces we haven’t seen in past shows,” says Rachel Peake, the Grand Theatre’s Artistic Director.
